We are excited to annouce our Women's and Girl's MTB Skills Clinic and course preride at Fort Ord on August 9, 2024 @ 1PM
The skills clinics held at the Stafford Lake Rattler XC and Crusher Cup DeLaVeaga were such a great success!
If you are new to XC racing or just want to brush up on skills and techniques, then this clinic is perfect for you! Fort Ord trails are ideal for honing skills on fast, flowy courses!
Jessica Tseng will be returning to lead the clinic and share her techniques as a certified skills coach.
It is not required that you race on Saturday to attend the clinic, simply sign-up below.
The clinic is designed to empower female riders, whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started. We'll cover various topics to help you improve your racing skills, boost your confidence, and find your edge on the trails.
This clinic is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded women and gain valuable knowledge.
Following the clinic, at 3PM there will be a Women's group preride.
This opportunity allows you to familiarize yourself with the race course, providing a competitive advantage for Sunday's race (if you are racing).
Remember to bring your helmet and cycling gear.
See you out there!

Fort Ord is legendary for its ultra-fast trails. This is where you will lay down some serious speed without running into a lot of technical features. Average speeds can exceed 18 MPH for top finishers depending on the course. On that note - Fort Ord features nearly limitless course variation. The CCCX Race Series will take advantage of trails and features that are not often used to give riders a unique experience. We don't mind putting the extra work into course design!
Please park inside venue and not on the street.
