2026 3CX SUMMER MTB SERIES

SERIES OVERVIEW

The CCCX MTB Race Series is a series of 3 races across different venues

Series scoring will be based on the best 4 race results for each rider in the series. Points will be based on finish position. Riders participating in the series cannot change categories after the first race in the series.

Series rules and scoring details are explained below.

Registration for each race ends at 12PM two days prior to race day. (i.e. Friday at 12PM for Sunday race).

There is a $20 fee for lost race plate/tag. We recommend leaving them with us between races.

7:30AM - Course Open for Preride

8AM - Registration Opens

Start waves may change based on registration volume.

9:30AM - Sport, 12 & Under, 13-14, Beginner

11:00AM - Expert; Open

*It is our standard to have the same number of laps for men/women. In the case of Toro Bravo XC - the decision was made based on expected race times.

Cut-off times:

Wave 1: 120 Minutes

Wave 2: 120 Minutes

Prize $ - Open Category:

1st $100; 2nd $75; 3rd $50

Prize $ Rules: Prize money is awarded based on the following criteria:

Racer must finish under the cut off time.
Racer must finish within 30 minutes of the category winner.

Series Scoring

There are some changes to the scoring for the 2026 series, so please read carefully below.

Series scoring will be based on the best 4 race results for each rider competing in the series. Points will be based on finish position in the rider class. For example, 8th grade girls will only be scored against other 8th grade girls.

Riders participating in the series cannot change categories after the first race in the series.

Riders must complete at least 2(three) races to qualify for series results. While it will be possible to finish on the podium with 3 scores, It will be very difficult finish ahead of any rider with 4 scoring races.

The point system for races 1-2 is displayed to the left.

The final, Race #3, is worth double the points in the chart to the left.

The is a 10-point bonus for starting all 3 races.
