Welcome to the 3CX 2026 Mountain Bike Race Series — the Bay Area’s biggest and longest-running MTB race series, now entering its 29th year of full-gas racing at Fort Ord, California.
3CX is known for its fast, flowy courses, smooth rhythm, and friendly racing atmosphere. Each round delivers a perfect blend of speed, endurance, and fun — open to all ages and skill levels, from first-timers to elite XC racers.

All races take place at Fort Ord, CA, featuring the same fast, rolling terrain riders have loved since 1997.
Bring your crew and go for team glory! Teams earn points based on rider results across the series. Schools, clubs, and local groups are all welcome.

Race Packs are blocks of fully transferable registrations valid for any 3CX race. Use them however you like — a 5-Pack can cover 5 racers at one event or one racer at five different rounds.

There are some changes to the scoring for the 2026 series, so please read carefully below.
Series scoring will be based on the best 4 race results for each rider competing in the series. Points will be based on finish position in the rider class. For example, 8th grade girls will only be scored against other 8th grade girls.
Riders participating in the series cannot change categories after the first race in the series.
Riders must complete at least 3 (three) races to qualify for series results. While it will be possible to finish on the podium with 3 scores, It will be very difficult finish ahead of any rider with 4 scoring races.
The point system for races 1-4 is displayed to the left.
The final, Race #5, is worth double the points in the chart to the left.

Early bird ends 11 days before each race. Regular registration ends Friday at NOON before each race. Late registration ends at 3PM on Saturday before the race,
